Most custom pet gifts arrive looking like a stranger's dog. Poko Pet exists because that is a solvable problem: show the customer the artwork first, fix it if it is wrong, and only then print it.

Approve the proof
The artwork comes back to you by email. Nothing is printed, engraved or stitched until you have looked at it and said yes.

It gets made, then shipped
Your item goes into production only after you approve it, then ships with tracking. Made once, for you, rather than pulled off a shelf.

Nothing gets printed, engraved or stitched until you have seen the artwork and approved it. If it does not look like your pet, say so and it gets reworked — that is the whole point of the step.
It slows every order down by a day or two. It also means almost nobody opens the box and feels let down, which is the trade we would make every time.

Questions people actually ask
- What kind of photo do I need for a custom pet portrait?
- One clear, well-lit photo of your pet is enough. Daylight and a head-on angle work best, and a phone photo is fine — resolution matters far less than the light and the angle. If the photo will not work, Poko Pet emails you before production starts rather than printing something disappointing.
- Do I get to see the design before it is printed?
- Yes. Made-to-order items go through a proof step: Poko Pet emails you the artwork and nothing is printed until you approve it. If it does not look like your pet, you say so and it gets reworked.
- How long does a personalized pet gift take to arrive?
- Personalized items are produced after you order, so the total time is the production window plus transit. Each product page states its own production window, because a printed bandana and a hand-finished portrait do not take the same amount of time. Delivery is 2–5 working days domestically and 7–14 days internationally once the item ships.
- What pets can Poko Pet make gifts of?
- Dogs and cats are the most common, but any pet you can photograph clearly works — rabbits, birds, horses and reptiles included.
- Can I put more than one pet on the same item?
- Yes, on most products. Upload a separate clear photo of each pet rather than one group shot — pets are composed into the artwork individually, and a group photo usually means at least one of them is turned away or out of focus.
